PETERSBURG, FL — November 11, 2025 — Comegys Insurance Agency, in partnership with Heritage Insurance, proudly announces Ms. Alyssa Cutting, Kindergarten teacher at Pasadena Fundamental Elementary School, as one of the recipients of the 2025 Teacher Giveaway Program. Ms. Cutting received a $500 award in recognition of her exceptional commitment to her students and her inspiring approach to education.
The Teacher Giveaway Program distributed $5,000 throughout November to deserving educators across the community. After receiving more than one hundred applications, a group of senior residents from a local nursing home reviewed nominations and selected the final winners, bringing together generations in a celebration of teachers who make a lasting difference.
Ms. Cutting was nominated by Peter, whose child is a student in her Kindergarten class. He shared that “Ms. Cutting makes a positive impact in the lives of her students every single day. Her passion for teaching and contagious energy inspire creativity and spark the excitement for learning.”
