ST. PETERSBURG, FL — November 10, 2025 — Comegys Insurance Agency, in partnership with Heritage Insurance, is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Teacher Giveaway Program, which distributed $5,000 to outstanding educators throughout the month of November.
The initiative drew more than 100 applications from across the region. In a meaningful community collaboration, residents of a local nursing home reviewed all submissions and selected the winners—spotlighting intergenerational support for teachers who go above and beyond.
Among this year’s honorees is Ms. Kibart, the band teacher at Thurgood Marshall Fundamental Middle School in St. Petersburg, Florida, who received $500. Renowned for her contagious enthusiasm for music, Ms. Kibart organizes multiple concerts each year and creates opportunities for her students to perform alongside older high school musicians—experiences that build confidence, elevate performance skills, and cultivate a vibrant culture around music education.
